Event Schedule Details
Friday, 11th July
Camping
Everyone who has booked in for Friday night camping can check in at Event HQ in Hidden Valley and set up their camp. Cob Delights and Woodfired Delights and the bar will be set up at Hidden Valley HQ on Friday night, please bring cash. Additional food trucks will be available for Saturday night and Sunday morning. The SES is selling a BBQ Breakfast on Sunday morning.
Saturday 12th July - Race Day
Car Parking
Hidden Valley
• Parking marshals will be at the Hidden Valley Cricket Oval. Please follow the instructions of the marshals and any traffic management signs.
Sign in
All participants MUST sign in prior to the race.
Sign In will occur from 7:30am until 9:00am.
Riders who have already picked up their Race Pack on Thursday/Friday are still required to sign in at the sign in desk. The riders who are picking up their race pack on Saturday morning need to see the event crew inside the big shed in order to sign in.
Any participant who does not sign in will not be eligible for official placings in any category.
This is also essential to ensure all riders are accounted for at the end of the race.
Event Day Race Pack Pick Up
For those unable to pick up their race pack on Thursday or Friday must collect their bag on Saturday morning in Hidden Valley.
Rider Briefing
Rider Briefing 9:10am at the Hidden Valley Cricket Oval.
All riders must attend and listen.
Race Start
This year the Start Line will be located at the Hidden Valley Cricket Oval.
Participants are to line up in their respective category.
- 60km (Two Loops) E-Bike Riders will be first
- 90km (Three Loops) Riders will be second
- 60km (Two Loops) Riders will be third
- 30km (One Loop) Riders will be fourth/at the back
Riders must self-seed. Fitter and more skilled riders in the front, lessor skilled/experienced riders at the back
Start Times:
- 9.30am - Bike Fix Townsville 60km E-Bike (Two Loops) Class
- 9.40am - DLB Communications 90km (Three Loops) Class
- 9.50am - Bike Fix Townsville 60km (Two Loops) Class
- 10.00am - 30km (One Loop) Class
Timing & Results
The Timing and Results services will be supplied by Outer Limits. The results will be published on Sunday afternoon.
You MUST sign in and have your Race Bib displayed as required.
At the start of the race, you MUST ride through the race start gates. Do not go around the gates/arch.
At the finish line, please ensure you ride through the finish gates to officially finish the race and have your time recorded.
*Cut Off Time* - A cut off time will apply by which riders must have commenced their third loop. Any riders yet to commence their third loop by the nominated time will be changed to the 60km competition and be listed as unranked.
Presentation
The winner awards presentation will be held at Hidden Valley Race HQ once the Top 3 riders have crossed the finish line.
Event Photos
Professional photographers will be at the event and photos will be made available 24-48 hours after the event
After Party
The Event HQ will be set up at the Hidden Valley Cricket Oval. We have a live band playing music on Saturday night and we have food trucks on site (Cob Delights, Woodfire Delights and SES BBQ truck) to help you refuel after the race. The Paluma District Community Association is setting up a bar area selling drinks. Please bring cash for food and drink purchases. NO EFTPOS available.

The SES is cooking up a BBQ Breakfast on Sunday morning (please bring cash).
